10 Things To Do Before I Turn 30

I know what you are thinking… Isn’t it supposed to be 30 things to do before turning 30? Well, I am a little late to the game. I turn the big 3-0 in exactly 100 days! With that being said, this won’t be the crazy ‘travel the world’ kind of bucket list. Though that would be fun, unfortunately/fortunately, I have responsibilities! So instead, my bucket list will be things that make me happy. Something that will challenge me but also help me. My goal is to go into my 30’s feeling and being my absolute best!

Below is my list in no particular order!

  1. TAKE CARE OF MY BODY AND MIND

This isn’t just “go to the gym” but more along the lines of: start meditating, eat healthier, walk more often, rest! You get the idea!

  1. HOST A DINNER PARTY FOR MY FRIENDS

I have hosted meals before for my family but have never done one with friends.

  1. MEET A NEW FRIEND

I am not talking about being introduced to someone new. I am talking about being actual friends that go out and do things together!

  1. READ MORE

I think this one explains itself. 🙂

  1. WRITE MORE OFTEN IN A JOURNAL

Writing in a journal is a great way to reflect on your day and get out all of your thoughts and feelings. One of my favorite things to do at night with my son, is get out my journal and write down what we are grateful for.

  1. SPEND MORE TIME OUTSIDE WITH MY SON

I feel like I am constantly on the go and never really get to hang out with my son. I want to focus on getting outdoors, away from electronics and having some old fashion fun!

  1. GO ON A DATE OR TWO

I dread this, but I think it will be a good growing experience for me. I mean after all, I do want to get married some day in the near future!

  1. RUN MORE

Another thing I dread. Ha! Once I get into the swing of running and it gets less hard, I do enjoy it and I use to do it frequently. Its just taking that first step… literally!

  1. PAY IT FORWARD

Ever had someone help you out when you didn’t ask for it? It doesn’t only make that person feel good, but it also makes you feel good. Start a chain of positive events just by paying for someone’s coffee or doing something nice for someone. Positive momentum is a powerful thing!

  1. HAVE A PAMPER DAY

Who doesn’t want to go into their birthday feeling fresh and beautiful?
